Tck tck tck won a Game Changer Award at the We Media conference held in Miami from March 9-11 2010. Game Changers are people, projects, ideas and organisations recognised for leading change and inspiring a better world through media.

Tck tck tck is credited for its state-of-the-art digital advocacy, petition aggregation and community building that inspired involvement and action through media. Tck tck tck made civil society’s concerns about climate change heard on a global level.

Global Humanitarian Forum’s Youth Forum Helps the Wall Fall Again

To mark the 20th anniversary of one of the most powerful events of the twentieth century, the fall of the Berlin wall, the Global Humanitarian Forum (GHF) sent its Youth Forum team to Berlin on November 9. The Youth Forum carried GHF’s message that the world has the power to tear down walls of poverty, hunger and other humanitarian catastrophes, including the suffering caused by climate change. As Mischa Liatowitsch, head of the Youth Forum, put it, “Individuals can choose to be apathetic, or they can become part of the solution by acting now and acting together.”
